  1. is it correct ? that if ,(as I have ) you got an August produced bus ,(mine "71) its somehow a 72 bus? I mean obviously it cannot be 71 and 72 , a small point perhaps but really guys this is so annoying me ,think ordering parts ,checking out wiring diagrams ....I read somewhere that during August they started producing next years model <is that correct ? which if it is ,???nope ,still can" t work it out >71 or 72 ?>and ta if u can sort this one !

That's right, a 72 bus can have been made, and registered, in 71 or 72.

  4. sounds like you've got a crossover like me mate.

low front lights & a big back end by any chance? ;)

make the most of it, you got the best of both.

  5. small lights low,>> removable valance , the prob is finding (if it may exist)a wiring diagram that is even half correct for this bus ,appreciate with 9 previous owners there is much room for "their improvements" its just a massive pain at the mo(doing elecs),closest in Bentleys (imo) is the >>"from Aug 71 (1972 model) I mean even the 71 chart, (for 71) shows a "test network central plug" ?<not on this bus ! splitting the atom was zilch on this !

As PT says, it's a 71 model year. Third digit is the model year. :)
