I'd have a double decker! Upstairs for sleeping quarters and bathroom. Downstairs for kitchen and living space.

I wouldn't have a one at all. There's just something about the VW that's always played on my mind. I knew I'd get one one day and now I have.

Having said that I've always had a thing for e-types.........

I've seen a lot of those big diesel Mercs converted using the interior from a scrapped caravan (not as daft as it sounds as you get the plumbing, heating, furnishing etc etc.

Though some of the layouts are quite mad and completely illogical!

Would love to have a go at building one though!

Saw one of these Bedfords at a car show this summer. Lovely couple owned it from new. Often take it to France once a year. Loads of space and a proper kitchen. It really is like a home on wheels retro style. And it was all going so well until some chap said to me "crap gear change".
