    if you going to us it for camping with a family/partner etc a pop top is the most practical and mine NEVER leaks had the roof up in torrential rain at bristol volksfest not one drip 8)

    I've got a tintop, i'm six foot tall and i CAN stand up in the back!



    I would'nt recomend it in the rain though. The joys of a sunroof bay ;)

    at 6 ft 4 tintops look great but there is no way i could camp in one, westy was the only official vw conversion for a reason, they are the best, end of.

    I'm 6'2" and can stand up no probs in the back of mine. Having to crouch in the back of a tintop would do my head in.

    I just wouldn't choose one over a tin top. But hey I cant say I dislike any T1s or T2s really.

    swing out cooker in the wind and rain :-X what about times when you cant put the awning up? the freedom to move about in the back without ooh haa... get up I cant find the tea bags
