Was on our way back from a day out. We had been to Flatford Mill in Suffolk and then Frinton On Sea. Was driving along A120 past Coggeshall. We were doing about 60, the road all of a sudden undulates. Can't say I have ever noticed it in any of my cars but it's a 300 yd long stretch that is up and down and full of wheel sized dips (not pot holes). Anyway bus is rocking due to bumps and as we bounce down I'm losing control and heading for the kerb. The kerb is made from those wedged shaped kerbstonesand I though Marmite !!!!!! Luckily I managed to lift off everything and gain control. Worst thing was that sun was also low in the sky, BIG and right in my eyes. Oh well, at least I know now. Lesson learnt. But why the f*** don't our councils look after our roads properly ? It's a 60mph A road FFS !
