I really like this T5

I'm not thinking of buying a T5 camper but really like this nonetheless.

Well I would love one.
Admit it. If you own an old bay camper you're paying a lot of money just to squeeze yer ass into a bit of classic vintage cuteness and style. You never really know if you're going to make it from point A to point B without having to call a tow truck. Not to mention the constant rust war. Little blemishes constantly bubbling up worse than a 14 year old with a nasty chocolate addiction. And we have a tiny little 4-banger, yet we STILL only get what, 18MPG?! What the Hell is that?! This T5 has 170 horse diesel.
That bugger has a damn nice toilet. We don't even have climate control! And for all the safety features on an old bay I might just as well join The Flying Wallendas troupe of trapeze artists as get on the damn motorway during rush hour.
I love my bay, but some days it would be nice to be able to just flip on the air con, set the cruise control, recline my seat and leave my recurring bondo nightmare behind.

 

Just get a normal T5 if you want reliability and comfort but that is gross

 

I go camping nearly every week in all weather so I'm not a closet camper.
I have nothing against motorhomes or travel trailors its just I really like the T5 and I think thats really ugly thats all

 

Funny how a seller wants 35K for camper and only shows you the outside? That could be a (as already said) a horse box or a van. If it's a camper he should show the inside, as that's where the camper really is. N'est pas?

Its really nice - toilet as well.

 

Can't exactly use it to pop down to ikea for a flat pack of something.

And I just had a silly moment thinking "why do you need seat belts at dinner time??"

I do like it. It's well equipped too but it should be for

 

Who cares about whether it's ugly or not. I just got a call to say 'your bus is finished and ready for collection'. I can't believe it. After sitting in the corner of a paint shop for 11 months, my baby is coming home! Woop, woop!

But you'll have to wait another 3 months before you see her as there's one or two mods yet to do

 

I've just been sick looking at it.

Why is it vw campers go fot stoopid money. Was looking at real coachbuilts last yr. vw were silly money even the sales man said forget vw ones they are not worth it, for the same amount you can get a Masive one with 6 beds, shower, decent crapper, proper seating area, good fitted kitchen and more.

 

That's quite cool and well laid out!

He should have got reversing sensors. Then he wouldn't have backed into that caravan.
