Finally got round to rebuilding a CU type 4 motor and found the supposedly new lifters i bought on ebay some years ago look used. Can't risk them on my new cam so looking at a new set. Why is there such a hugh disparity in price ? VWH are £23.84 while Coolair are £14, both aftermarket parts, neither giving a manufactorers name althought i suspect they all come from the same factory. Has anyone had any experiance of either as to quality ?
They may well be the same . VWH probably have a larger turnover so charge the US dollar based current price, while Coolair may have older stock which cost them less. Death to Brexit. May it die in a vote of No Confidence.
