Can i bring my own Ferrets?

 

No joke. They're taking bookings now with no payment. They'll then contact all in January for payment

 

We went to Hurst View a few years ago in our tent and its a fab site. It was a busy Spring Bank Holiday weekend but it was still really laid back, to the extent that we had to go and offer to pay as we left!
Its in a great location too.

 

Really - ferrets and birds. Hey @WoodyLubber its a Yorkshireman's dream this. Whippet racing and theyve got it cracked.

 

I forgot to mention they allow open fires... within reason

We got sick of ferreting as youths but if them birds we're Pigeons well now your talking My brother was a big time breeder and racer a few years back, sold birds all over the world, I loved watching them return home after racing and it still astounds me how they do it. We used to go up to 100 miles away training them and they always beat us home He had some good stock, long story but he don't do it no more

Reckon we'll have an interior by then @volkswombat ? Maybe you could persuade @davidoft & co to come too? That's if he's not too scared to camp?

 

I should hope well have an interior by then, we will be camping in it waaay before that !
Davidoft is never too scared too camp, you've seen the way he walks!

 

I thought it was because he stored his sausage rolls in funny places... the oft equivalent of 'chipmunk cheeks'...

 

Close to Keyhaven

 

Not bad, numbers were a bit low I thought,we had all 4 seasons in one weekend
Chas n Dave were okish they arrived, sung and left all within one hour
