  1. Did ours last year, changed both seals, strengthened and insulated poptop. Pretty sure I put something on here if helps. [IMG][IMG][IMG]

  2. They should just unbolt ......beware they are still under some force.

From memory, I unbolted the centre bracket from the van first and nearly took my hand off at it pinged off. And then disassembled the lot once it was off the van

  4. Yes, I thought about just removing the fibreglass around the heads of the bolts so I could have purchase enough to undo the nuts (then re-fibreglass). Think I’ll wait to see just how watertight it is (apparently 100%) before I try that.

  5. My bolts have been fibreglassed over (nice job too). Currently this replacement roof is the best thing about my Bay...how fitting that it isn’t even fitted and sits gleaming in the Garage!

Struts are pretty strong hey. I seem to be able to manage them with a couple of reusable cable ties in place.

  6. Hi, I just undid the bolts which removed the arms from the brackets. If you want to undo those on top then I’d look to do what others suggested and cut around the bolts with a knife.
Apologies for the late reply, not on here that much now
