  1. Thanks for letting me in.

    Im Gungemyster aka Chris.

    Ive had beetles, buggies, campers and a karmann ghia, however this is my young ladies bus.
    Its a texas import late bay.
    Its just failed its mot on a blowing exhaust but im struggling to find a US spec exhaust diagram (any help on this would be appreciated)
    I need to id the blowing section to see if its a section i can easily replace or not.
    Im part of DBS and Kerbside Kustoms.

  5. Hi, its a type 4 2ltr Taxas import so US spec exhaust

    Is it carbed or injection.

    Give me a 1600 twin port anyday. So much easier to work with

    all engines do the same ,a lot of sewing machine twinports would love your engine...:thumbsup:

  15. Ok looking at the above, im pretty sure its the exhaust manafold. Its difficult to tell as its covered by a heat shield.

    I think i will need to get back underneith and take a few pics

    Hi from Cheshire, there's quite a few joints on these pipes to potentially leak but when sorted you've got the best engine set up:thumbsup:
