anyone got one of these: https://www.justkampers.com/camper-...-geyser-camping-hot-water-system-lpg-gas.html Im intrigued! Any use at all or tat?
Not much water in The tank for a shower but it’s a simple System so will work fine , my camper has a similar thing for the hot water
If it’s just for showers my mate’s got one of these, well, similar to this. He has to boil a bit of water in a kettle to add to the water carrier he uses but they work really well. https://www.amazon.co.uk/Ridecle-Portable-Rechargeable-Traveling-Cleaning/dp/B07X5Z3F8W/ref=sr_1_4_sspa?crid=3FKB1I2Y6RQ1O&keywords=battery shower pump&qid=1567280184&s=gateway&sprefix=Battery shower,aps,142&sr=8-4-spons&psc=1&spLa=ZW5jcnlwdGVkUXVhbGlmaWVyPUFGMjFNM0tWSkxJMyZlbmNyeXB0ZWRJZD1BMDMzNDQxMUdBRUdSOENMQUZGNiZlbmNyeXB0ZWRBZElkPUEwODk2Njg2M1JIVkJOUTA2RVpPQiZ3aWRnZXROYW1lPXNwX2F0ZiZhY3Rpb249Y2xpY2tSZWRpcmVjdCZkb05vdExvZ0NsaWNrPXRydWU=
Yeah, I've got something similar - except it's 12v powered from a cigarette lighter socket, rather than battery. Bunged a socket just inside the back, running from the solar panel, so I can hang the shower head from the open tail gate. Works pretty good, but as you say - need to heat a bit of water up first unless its a lovely scorchio summer day hahahaha
You can get the 240 and gas version but it twice the price and requires more space and a gas vent on the side of the van, I have seen water cooled van use a heat transfer unit quite cost efficient, but it’s not much good to my air cooled bay .
They don't look too bad as a unit. Jed (CampervanCulture) used to use one in his Syncro - he usually only sells the big stuff like that if he has tested it himself.
