I love it when a thread goes off at a tangent but it’s not often on the very first post – well done.

 

• This is not going off at a tangent but im intrigued as to why the need to fit horseshoe plates, if it’s to drop or raise the rear all you have to do is raise or lower the spring plate one or two notches and it’s free and less dangerous or am I missing something?

 

Camber.....
With spring plates you don’t get the camber issue, where as you both it your camber changes

But with horseshoe plates it puts so much extra on the bolts they often snap ..
