Highlands End, Eype, Dorset - Brilliant!

  1. Hi

Just been on a trip around Dorset starting at Durdle Door which we felt was expensive and the crows made so much noise...backdrop of the door and sea more than made up for this though. We then went to Eype and Highlands End Holiday Park which was brilliant.

This site was absolutely stunning with views of the bay from almost all the pitches. The staff were friendly, shop and bar very good and food in restaurant good too. Lovely access to the coastal path and a good sized dog exercise field. There is a lovely walk on the coastal path a few miles either way either to West Bay or SeaTowm over the beacon and cliffs, a little strenuous but the pub lunch at the end with amazing views worthwhile. Beach at Eype long with lots rocks and fossils, recent landslip though.

Campsite spacious, showers and toilets the best I have seen in the UK and views excellent. Not too expensive. Also on site huge indoor swimming pool which was brilliant.

Then onto Beer and the views and town make up for the slightly hilly campsite.

    Thoroughly recommend the trip.

    Cheers
    Ben
