Deffo worth a vist two nice beaches about 10-15 mins away, had a great weekend there and will be returning. Love a fire when I camp a finding sites that allow them is becoming harder and harder.
the swanage purbeck area is great been gonig for years but stop at Toms Field Campsite. be sure to visit The Square And Compass at Worth Matravers, they brew their own cider so leave the van. its a pub everybody should visit . they only do pasties so dont expect food. and have chickens running round too. and stone carving 2 weeks in summer. its ace
We stayed there last year - perhaps we caught it at a bad time as we were not that impressed - Police called out to sort out a punch-up, we were down near the statics and that was kind off ' interesting' - mind you the facilities were spotless!
