Looking good mate. Got the corner of the window fitting better than ours. I'll make it work though!

  5. Got the o/s A Pillar bottom sorted I think now.. did this one by spot welding the pillar U piece to the front down section.. I think on the N/S I'll weld the 3 sections separately doing the U section first then marry up the flat section and finish with the corner.. [IMG][IMG]
The gap at the back doesn't matter as much as the side bottom and front profile I'm guessing to I'm going to take the 5mm out by cutting and then retag it with the gap shaved out..

  7. Grrr so I've got the n/s welded up now looking SPOT ON!! And now the front nose has suddenly decided to be a bitch! Hopefully tomorrow will bring some successful tugging and fettling.. nothing A pillar wise can have shifted that much as the door trial fitted pretty much as it was Pre chopping out.. hmmm [IMG][IMG]

  11. Phew panic over!! Shaved about 3mm off the top of the inner valence and it popped on properly again.. got the dodgy rear of the pillar trimmed today - not going to get down this weekend cos I've got my littlun so have to hold fire till Monday now and try to get down to spray up the front before the nose goes on [IMG]

  12. Got further with the pillars today - just need to fill a couple of pin holes up now but all seems to be inline at least quick blast of bilthammer and I can wack the the front on

  13. The idea is to hopefully work and restore the front of the van first, nip to camper calling at the end of August and back off the road to work and restore from B pillars backwards. Looks like this could be fun [IMG]

  15. Arches trial bodged.. n/s is better than o/s but all in all, a bit of stretching pulling and clamping and hopefully they'll go in properly

  16. B Pillars are pretty crap and made mainly of filler so had to make some more curves.[IMG]
These pins are the nuts @JamesLey ! Good shout mate

Good right? You'll want that repair tucked inside the B pillar I think otherwise it'll open a bit of a gap between the b pillar and arch when you come to fit it.

  19. Got the B pillar fitted properly early on and started the fun of arches.. not a bad fit if I do say for a first wack.. I'll try and get back tomorrow to weld it in properly and then get the front beaten into submission..[IMG][IMG]
