Hello..Non VW owner..but it is a camper

  1. Hi all
I hope this is allowed but I am looking to possibly buy a vw camper of some sort of description to run alongside the main leisure vehicle, a 95 Hymer. So I will be doing research and reading up to make sure I understand it all. I went to Dub Fest at Hurst view in Lymington yesterday and there was some fantastic vans.
Whilst I love the Hymer, it is a big beast so for day trips I would like something smaller as well.
Anyway hope you don't mind me tagging along.
    Cheers, Marcus

  14. Many thanks for the warm welcome, that are some fantastic buses on here.
One question, what is the general consensus on the Brazilian buses with the polo engine as sold by Danbury? Are they classed as 'no the real thing' ? I have been looking at their website and frankly I cannot understand the pricing of these, breathtaking, but I guess that is the way with a lot of classic cars these days! I had a 205GTI that I sold 15 years ago for £800, I wish I kept hold of it! Even the prices of Hymer's is firming up as well. Anyway, interested in your views.
Here is a picture of our Hymer for anyone interested.
    Cheers
    Marcus.

Brazilian busses are way over-priced considering how quickly they rot. Not really considered by most of us as Late Bays but I still wave at them.

  19. Only this one really, double drop down bed over the cab, then dinette sofa is configurable to one massive bed, or a single, or double, whatever suits really.
Bit beige for my liking at the moment, but such good condition I shouldn't muck about with it too much really.
