Boo....... MG's was a big Triumph fan in my youth,started with Spitfire then onto GT6's all my mate's driving fiesta's . Alway's great rivalry between the MG and TRIUMPH clubs.

 

if you get your bus finished pop yourself down to dent beer festival, its not far for you and there's usually quite a few of us there

 

I'm talking 40 years ago! About 34 Y&J pubs and as many Mitchells, plus the Wagon and Horses which was a Hartleys pub. It was a beer drinkers paradise. There was Boddies and Thwaites in Morecambe where most of us students lived. Ahh! Those were the days!

That's true - had a couple of Midgets Years ago - choice was always between that and the Spit - but MG handled better. All friends now with the demise of the UK industry - friend of mine has a mint TR4 - I have an MGA which has been a bit neglected since I bought my '73 Westy

Now I've got my bus I've promised myself I'm not going to work 6-7 day's a week ( self-employed ) as life's too short, and I'm not getting any younger !

Hello back from snowy,cold North Lancs !

 

dent beer festival is 24th-26th june this year, dent is near sedburgh which for you about 40 miles..
mark- @MorkC68 did a list of who was attending last year, don't know if he's been in contact for this year. a few did bale last time for various reasons but it was still a good beer festival.

 

Hello skipton,what's the weather like over there,my mate's hoping to venture over to Harrogate tomorrow (weather permitting ) snowing here ?

I have to admire anyone that does a part time degree. Big imposition on your time and personal life. What are you doing? Assume its engineering, B eng, Bsc?
