Oh yeah..Westy are the besty.....though nearly didn't get Mr Peabody as the wife calls him....when I went to look at buying a van I was under strict instructions NOT to buy a green one...!!! Whoops my bad...

Westy Berlin?.....His birth certificate says Model 231 691 VW Kombi so does that make him a Berlin model? Sorry for delay in posting pictures had a busy weekend away in van for our first wedding anniversary, and most of the pictures I have are too big to upload..doh

Hi and thanks...I love the colour too and its starting to grow on the wife..!! only wish it had come with the proper westy interior....only got the front seats but they are in a shocking state so they are being recovered....but not in the green plaid (so sad) but Mrs S said she gets to do the "interior design" so no westy check for me

 

That's what vw did then it's been to Westfalia to be converted to a camper , we need to see the interior to know for sure
Wheel on the front sometimes means it's a Rare Helsinki.

Oh I see..thanks for the info....I will post some pic's of interior asap as I would like to know for sure but I'm pretty certain its not a "Helsinki" as (but please correct me if i'm wrong.. cause I usually am according to the wife..!!) the interior was the "green plaid check" and Helsinki's were only done in blue so I was told.
