When I purchase it it had writing on the side that said 1200kgs, if I'm honest it's being used for well below that as we have a Cabstar tipper , so it's only carrying fencing etc no more than 500kg I expect which it will easily manage. Besides it's being lowered
Judging from those figures the T will mean it's tare weight and V might be gross vehicle weight = 1 ton carrying weight ...i would have thought it would be more than that ....mind you my 3.5oo tranny tipper can only legally carry 1 1/4 ton , but the body (steel) and tipping gear and bed channels weigh quite a lot ....bloody hopeless really . Incidentally iam in the same trade as you .
