Lovely interesting bus does it have a factory fitted eberspacher heater ? Welcome to sight it's good on here.
Great bus, seats look lovely and warm now it's winter. Some rust on beam upright bits, on the bottom of the case. Sills could do with looking at too. Not much really, if that's it! I was in DK April, the kids got Billund and I got Christiania. Love Denmark!
Bonjour... keep a eye on the lower part of the front beam ,the usual hole rusty part... do you know @holmsen ?
Hi there! Lovely looking bus. Looks like a riviera interior to me. We have one on the way from the US which is also a tin top riviera, so there are some out there. Happy camping!
Lovely bus - welcome along! Its got the white factory accessory Westy wheel trims I had on mine when I got it.
Original 79 trims on wheels Looks like the bus on the 1979 brochure. Probably started life as a microbus as I think the colours. Sage green under Mexico be1ge where microbus only colours from 1979 (same as mine). Also it's a full tin top I'll see if I can fine a link to the brochure
I think you are right on the microbus. Vin 226 203 That is a 75 microbus, right? I am not to keen in the wheels so might try to find somthing more standard
The colours and wheels suggest 79. The trims were an option in 79 and the colours not available until 79 if it's in original paint. If the vin plate says otherwise I'll stand corrected
http://www.thesamba.com/vw/archives/info/chassisdating.php You must be looking at option codes on th m plate chassis numbers are in the link. Number beginning 226 didn't exist
226 is model number. 2 is type two 26 is somewhere in the microbus range but I can't find where http://www.thesamba.com/vw/archives/info/modelstype2.php#1968-1979
