Hello and thanks for accepting us into the group. We have had our VW from 2011 when we brought it as a solid, rust free shell imported from a field in Australia. South West Splitz did the nice bits for us and we have enjoyed using him since - well apart from a few incidents which every owner has; what tales would we have to tell otherwise !!! Looking for a bit of advice though as we are venturing abroad in him this year - full recon engine done last winter so more confident. Hoping to be away for about 4 months but finding an insurance company that does longer than 90 days with an agreed valuation is proving to be very hard. Does anyone have any experience / tips of where to look ? Would be grateful for any advice - thanks
Hi from West Lancashire - can't help with your bus insurance but also check your house insurance - often doesn't cover you if you are away for more than month
Thats our next lot of phone calls - who would of thought a meander through France would be so difficult !!!! Lots of folk do it but I guess not in vintage vans
