Hi, just signed up as a member. Been the owner of a T2 late bay Devon conversion for nearly a year. This was bought as a running van with all Devon interior removed but in good order and sold with the van. It is a new love affair and a medium to long term project to get her back to her original. The best thing is she is usable as she is and has had a few camp outs and many day trips.
Thinking of doing a European trip this summer and was recommended to come here to get plenty of good advice.
Looking forward to many happy years as a late bay owner/ addict.

    Thanks all for your welcome
Many family holidays have been along the lines of piling the girls into the car with a tent and travelling south through France towards the Alps. Even made the Italian coast one year. Last year we drove through France and Switzerland to the Italian lakes but stayed in an apartment. Now we have the bay we are thinking of driving through Belgium and Germany to Lake Constance. Touring is still the preferred way to holiday - cultural immersion etc, but can't be doing sleeping in a tent anymore so the bus is the camper is the way to go. We've never pre-booked in the past to give us the freedom to go where we want and to follow our noses.
No leisure battery but thinking of using a hookup extension type lead to access power on the sites. Sound like a good idea?
