Why are the supposedly simple jobs, the ones that cause the most grief? Trying to fix the windscreen wipers this evening, only to find the spindles I have don't fit the wiper mechanism. Its taken a good couple of hours to get everything apart and now I can't put the ruddy thing back together :'( :'( Right this calls for.................beer Time to think about the next step through the small hours of the night and come up with a cunning plan by tomorrow. I feel better for getting that off my chest.
