Hi All, thanks to all who have helped me with my problems so far, this forum is great, it's good to know that there's someone out there who can help with all things VW, it makes being a newbie so much easier. Next problem, how do i stop my rust from getting any worse, without rubbing back and painting with primer? I know i will have to shell out for a respray at some point, until then i'd like to keep my van looking as good as possible. Many thanks, Dean
You need to remember that rot showing through paintwork is like an ice berg 75% of it is below the surface Ive lost count of the amount of times ive poked at a small bubble of rot showing on the surface only for it to open up into a much larger hole vactan and kur rust is only really suitable for keeping light surface corrosion at bay Take some pics of where your getting rust bubbles showing and post them up
