Yep. My poptop roof is fiberglass. Good thing with Rustoleum it's flexible, just make sure you key up the fiberglass roof so the paint adhears to it. I didn't apply any primer as no need to.

So it's been a while! Glenda failed the MOT on rear valance. And I then discovered this. Amazing what a bumper can hide.

So just ordered the following items from Schofields:
    Inner rear valance
    Outer rear valance
    Right D post
    Left D post
Now need both lower corners, below the bottom light, but all the usual suspects seem to sell the corners to the top of the light. Hopefully @davidoft can source some bottom corners.

  3. Go and have a good poke around your rear chassis rails where they meet your torsion tube.

  4. Mine failed on the same thing - rear inner valance - now repaired with inner and outer and corners but had to do the rear chassis legs and battery tray too!

Panels arrived from Schofields. Good quality D posts and outer valance, not sure why they can't try and make there own inner valance.
Working lates this week so no fixing until the weekend, where I will be allocated a small window of time to play.

Well spent the last month sorting out Glenda's rear end.
First off apologise to @davidoft not getting back to you for the rear os corner. No excuse. Had my head up me bum trying to get her back on the road.
Also stripped the carb down and replaced the bushes and soaked all the bits. Took it for a test drive and poo the bed what a difference. No need to adjust from basic settings!!!
Will post pics when I can. Mot tomorrow, fingers crossed.

Engine update. So the engine is out and I must admit, no amount of gaffer tape will fix this!

    Ahhh. Can't upload a picture!!

So took delivery of this 1761, from my mate, who put this lovely thing together. Just waiting for it's ancillaries.

    So my bad error! It's a 1776 and not a 1761!!
Anyway, the hard part is over and it's in!

Just replaced the main jet to X132.5 and the air correction jet to a 120Z.

Also oil filler neck back to original. I wanted to fit a pierburg fuel pump, I've had for years, but it needs a rebuild kit, so left it out!

After a not being able to start her and not knowing what it could be, a simple turn to TDC, with the rocker cover off, she was off by 180. Nice one Colin and a good start, saving hours of, is it this, that and the other.
    Now the bedding in begins!
I want this engine to last, so will follow the bedding in process.

The only thing I found is the accelerator cable is a lot shorter than I remember, when it was sat in the carb arm, so going to have to loosen the engine bolts and see if I can pull through the rest of the cable!
