I am so pleased! I was sat in the garage office trying to look cool and confident but had my fingers tightly crossed and hidden in my pockets! The handbrake is always a problem, so this weekend I am treating her to some new cables to see if that makes a difference. All in all, a brilliant result for a 38 year old vehicle.
Such good news Yay. Our handbrake cable is terrible too - on the way to RTTH I was desperate for a wee and had to stop in a lay-by to use the porta potti. Just as I sat down the van started to roll forwards, the other half didnt notice so I had to dive forwards and hit the break. :-[ :-[ I definately need to sort it. There's nothing more embarrasing than mooning at passers by!!!!
