Gearbox and rear hub woes

    Can anyone tell me where the rubber stops #16 in the picture go? Looks like they go on the prongs is #6 but I don't have any. Also #2 on my bus is just a metal block that appears to be something improvised - anyone got a proper one available?

    To sort the issue out on #2, the mounting block, mark out where the prongs go and file with a round file, you don't have to go too deep, we went 5mm at the deepest point, worked a treat!

    Thanks Mork. So do the metal prongs just rest on it? No rubber bushes?
     
  15. mine does, no rubber, only rubber is the black rubber bit at the back of no.6

  19. They're just...bushes, that push onto the "cowhorns". I don't know what they do. Some kind of bumper? I'd imagine you could live without them.

    The clamping block is legit. It just looks like it was made in somebody's lunch hour. I'll try and find a pic of mine.
