Gas millage ..? Who's getting what ....?

So whats your milage ?
5 us gallons got me 74 miles. 3.8 litres a gallon .
(Sorry im a yank)
That was half highway , half city .
Als had three people total .
Keep in mind its a westy so maby heavier .
Not so good?
2.0 fuel injected

Whats yours ...tin top etc ? Engine size . . Old motor ? Rebuilt ?

 

19 to 21 mpg over 40000 miles. Same with 34pict-3 and progressive carb.
1641 Devon Eurovette poptop largely original interior.
185/65R15 alloys.
motorway at 65+ for the most part.
Just had new engine and the tracking done. So may be a change for the better.

 

Between 18-20 per gallon. Tin top, stock height and with a full length roof rack that doesn't help.

 

These new engines pay off . I have a new top end , heads redone by shop etc .

 

240 miles to a tank, can't be arsed to work it out

 

2L auto. Camper with 2 up and loaded for holidays...about 23 on a steady motorway run at between 50 and 60.
Sub 20 around town.

 

Never kept a tally.....id estimate 20-25 mpg on my twin 40'd tin top

Boggo (rebuilt) 1600 - touching 30 mpg

we have 4.54 litres in a gallon
i get around 22 mpg 2 lite fuel injected auto

 

Ill be pumping gas with a english accent from now on . Maybe the pump with , accommodate !

 

Just did LeMans and back, averaged 27 mpg even running on 3 cylinders for 200 miles.

22mpg mixed motorway and backroads,heavily loaded with 2 kids,wife and all the bits.

Its a english forum .
So lets make the rule an english gallon .

 

in US speak that comes out as 16mpg or less than the 220hp Ford Fusion I hired in 2008 and cruised LA then drove up to Death Valley, Mammoth Lakes , Yosemite , Monterey and then Moonstone Beach , Santa Barbara and LA.

And I am not sure of the engine builder ... it took me several tries to get it all in the crankcase so that it went round at alll...

Desmond has completed 230 miles on £10 worth. That's to say he had £10 put in him and its been used to get him on and off several yellow taxis. I'm not helping am I?
