OK so that's 6 I might need then! I'll have to check tomorrow. I also need a bunch of the 2 part plastic bungs after I dynax everything - I think they're better than a grommet. I did a search and found both at our friends bus-ok.de :-

I'm happy to organise another group buy for these and any other bits people might need. Anybody interested? Last time we managed to share the €19 postage between 15 of us and the price in euros looks OK.

Well spotted, I couldn’t find them when I searched a few years ago.

@PIE these are the plugs used in the rear wheel arch – ref your Cavity Oil thread.

If we get enough people in the group buy, we split it - £1 each last time. Once 4 or 5 are interested I'll start a group buy thread. Bus-OK have quite a few bits that are hard to find.

I’ll be liberally Dynaxing once the weather warms up a bit so put me down for a complete set
(Provided it doesn’t cost both my arms and legs!)

This is my job on Friday, cavity wax the whole thing and underbody wax. Think I may stink of the stuff for a while

  14. Mine will never be as thorough as yours, and i'm still at the underseal in the hair and constant taste of rust in my mouth stage :D

That's the most fun part right?! I remember being at the cutting and welding stage, the filth that collected at the bottom of the bath after I'd been in it was quite spectacular.

    Too much detail.

  17. I’ve been wearing a bandana and a full white zip in spraying suit/overalls thing and still I seem to bring mist of it home.

Fun you say? Which bit?? I am actually really enjoying getting stuck in again but had forgotten about how quickly surface rust forms after exposing nice shiny metal :(

I’ve just got to remember that I’m never going to get to all of the underseal or rust and can only do what I can and that will be better than ignoring it for years! :D

I've started a thread now for the group buy - it's in the Late Bay Parts section.
