Hi, I now have my new pressed original style yellow and white number plates and have decided to put it on the front of the bumper but what is the best way to secure it ? really do not fancy drilling the freshly painted bumper if I can help it ! but may have no choice .

  2. Sticky pads, but drilling and a couple of covered self-tappers is much better.

  3. Sticky pads are fine.

  4. Double sided foam tape , starchem s the one we use .

  5. I've got "L" shaped brackets under the bumper so its drilled underneath where not visible. The metal plates are then drilled and bolted on securely - taped front plates WILL fall off....

  7. Fair play, I work at a car dealer and even using the number plate specific stickers x 10 they come off - buses travel a bit slower so maybe that accounts for the difference...

  8. I’ve got chrome plate type with number plate insert , makes a neat job ? 76E2DF5E-90D6-4F85-97F1-37D0A7CA6677.png

  9. Want me to send you a couple of genuine, period, white nylon nut/bolts?

  10. I'll take a pair if they are genuine Westfalia please....

  11. Cheap, post Brexit, dystopian English/Chinese copies I'm afraid,
...but they won't keep coming off like stickies trying to hold a curve in an alloy plate around a front bumper.

  12. Sorry was you asking me mr fishy trews , no mines fixed thru bumper etc .cheers fa offer
