  1. Going to recover all my interior cards my self. All the rear ones seem to be in good condition, but the front door cards are rotten at the bottom, so will need replacing.

I have seen complete sets of either 11 or 13 panels on ebay from between £110 and £150, but could save a few pennies and reuse the old ones.

Tho only place I can find them sold seperate and not already covered is on JK, and they are only £33.50 for a front set.

Anyone used their 3mm MDF door cards before?

Is MDF ok, if sealed properley, or are they to thin and hardboard or plywood is a better option?

  2. MDF will absorb moisture much more easily that ply although it can be easier to work. I made all new panels for my bus using ply covered with vinyl. Use the thick ready mixed wallpaper paste to stick down the vinyl (put the paste on the board not vinyl). Fold vinyl over the edges and stick with contact adhesive. Good luck :)
