  1. I also managed to smile sweetly at work whilst my "lads" decided something wasnt right in their life and to take it out on me via what i call "the hairdryer treatment" .. when really all i wanted to do was say if you cant talk to me without shouting in my face then ***** off until you calm down and can talk to me nicely then I shall try to move heaven and earth to help you.. well words to that effect anyways!!

  2. Malc helped me in my search for a kitten - unfortunately we had already chosen one but it still counts right.

    Here is my tame effort:

Pulled up behind an elderly gent at the pumps and waited patiently while he was pressing all the buttons and was getting nowhere. Then the car in front of him pulled of so I did the selfish thing and overtook elderly gent and reversed into the pump in front. I then walked back to help the guy work the pump system out and even turned my head while he entered his PIN. I then filled the van up made sure he was ok and drove off.

Lynz thought I had gone to have a go at him.

  4. Can we have a separate thread for people who didn't do good deeds? I collapsed on the tube unable to breathe and after 10 minutes of watching me clutching my side fighting to get an agonising breath of air, the woman opposite me asked if she could have my paper as I wasn't reading it

  5. Coming back from a show a few years ago we saw a lovely tatty bus, rattle can graffitti of magic mushrooms struggling to get off the motorway and into the services, they had an oil leak of Amoco Cadiz proportions and after we offered them a top up, they limped away. We found them further up the motorway at another service station and gave them the rest of our oil.

The real karma of this was in June when we were jaunting around the Dales, got to Clitheroe to find that we didn't have enough oil and being a Sunday the auto shop was closed. We were contemplating getting back on the motorway and going to Preston when there was Mrsmc and Mrmc who lived 'round the corner' and offered us oil!

    Real karma, lovely people

  11. I once recycled a newspaper that some litter lout had left on the seat on the tube. In a drunken stupor he had fallen to the floor and thought I was a woman but I was determined that he shouldn't litter the place regardless of how drunk he was.
