Four Weddings revisited

The Mamma Mia skit was fairly amusing, especially Cher’s squeaky trousers

 

Is that a politically correct way of saying clinically obese?

 

I remember a bit of the original film being filmed on part of the A303 near here when Hugh and that little bird were late for the wedding, driving that mini.

 

Ah yes, Charlotte Coleman. She was brill in the film. She was also Marmalade Atkins when she was younger

 

One thing that always bothered me about the film was how at the start, Charlie (Hugh) was best man for some bloke who was marrying that lass out of the Philadelphia adverts, so you’d kind of assume a pretty close relationship, then he has pretty much zero contact with him for the rest of the film. My son was best man when I tied the knot with Mrs Tatty, and I have seen him quite a lot since then

 

That’s not the sister of that bird Colman that was in Dr Who, who now plays Victoria, is it? They look similar. Sorry, rubbish with names.

 

Sadly I’m not at all familiar with Dr Who any more, so no idea. She did have a sister who was in Casualty for a good few years.

 

Yes, a sad loss at a young age. I didn’t really like Atkinson’s cameo much, but I didn’t like the thing as a whole anyway. Best thing was......er.....no, it’s gone...
