Makes even more sense of Alonso's decision!

 

Button and Vandoorne into Q3, Hamilton out in Q 2.

 

Not sure that this is how Vandoorne really wanted his first decent Quali session to end.

 

Raikkonen on Pole for the first time since 2008.
I love his excitement when Ferrari radioed the news to him "Ah, good."

 

I'm going to enjoy watching button driving round at the back today.... poor boy!

 

That was a bizarre prang between Button and Wehrlein.

 

I think jenson just got bored and fancied getting to the bar earlier

 

I loved the radio between jenson and and Alonso at the start where Alonso said look after my car and Jenson said I will pee in it

 

It was inevitable he'd bin it after that conversation!

 

So it looks like McLaren did more than just rebrand Alonsos Indy car... I reckon they sent along some of the Honda engineers to have a tinker too

Good to see Takuma again. Did not realise Max was racing.

 

I guess that now that Jost Capito has rejoined Volkswagen, it be pointless for Zak Brown and McLaren looking for a new engine supplier there.

Just caught up with Monaco after being away. Why C4 thought it would be good to do that race live, highlights would of been sufficient. :yawn:

 

First time back sat in front of a pc since i got back from Monaco - awesome trip

Met up with my buddy who lives out there in a bar just off the start finish line on the friday when we arrived - only logical way back to his pad after a cheeky beer was (of course) via the track about half of it was open so we did start/finish, up to casino sq, then a bit of a jiggle to get around to loews.. tunnel closed off but we didn't want to that way anyway.

Qually we were in stand T which is just after Piscine and also has views into the pits so we got to see pretty much all of the drivers etc. Vandoorne crash was right in front of us.

Met up with an other mate when i was back in the uk who's potentially up for a trip to Brazil GP to use up his air miles - sounds like that might be possible later in the year, fingers crossed.

Slightly more exciting this race. Just caught up with highlights. How long until Kvyat is dropped?

 

Force India seemed to do a good job. Surely Honda won't be with mclaren next year and unless they come up with a good engine supplier I doubt alonso will hang about

 

It was... slightly frustrating that C4 put Monaco ahead of Canada for live coverage, Canada is often a better race.

Kvyat brings in money doesn't he?

 

Red bull don't need the money though does it.

Do you think kubica will make a come back, can't see it myself.
