View attachment 63336 1973 Bay window camper. View attachment 63337 For sale is my late bay window Devon campervan. View attachment 63338 All ready to go for summer. A solid U.K. bus that is ready to go camping. The bus has been lowered with a frenchslammer narrowed beam, drop spindles and transporterhaus adjustable rear plates. It rides at a comfortable height and is great to drive. Consists of ... 1.7 engine twin carb, Electronic ignition, auto transmission (which is a dream) Stainless steel Vintage speed exhaust, Propex heater with thermostat, R’n’r bed, new curtains, light weight Rvtec cupboards, Smev sink and hob, Waeco fridge freezer, Electric hook up with built in Sargent power management fuse box charger for vehicle and leisure battery, Led down lights in pop top New bunks plus matching child bunk over front seats plus 3/4 rock n roll bed sleeps 5. New vehicle battery and leisure battery. New rubber seals Automatic fire extinguisher Alloy wheels. The bus is solid underneath and generally in very good condition, it has a couple of minor spots of rust that need attention but that is all. The jets have recently been done on the carbs and it is running great. Anything that has needed to be done has been done, also recently had a brake cylinder replaced, brakes good all round. All inspections welcome. The only reason I’m looking to sell (or possibly swap for westy) is I would like something with more sleeping room, I have looked into the possibility of fitting a westfalia roof to this but looks like it would cost!?! I am looking for somewhere in the region of £17495 My number is 07867 965505 if you would like any more info.. I hope you can view the pictures, if you can’t or need any more please let me know and I can send some via email or wottsapp
Nice bus @Jeffro GLWS Not in the market but interested to know how you have done the roof bars on the Devon top and what sort of weights you have had on them. Cheers
Thanks @Bertie the Bus I had some stainless steel brackets made to suit some roof bars I had. I usually just throw my surfboard on the roof, it’s great for transporting that but the roof could do with uprated springs to stay up with the bars and board still on.
