They (and their attractive landing slots) were bought out last year by Virgin Atlantic, Stobart Group and a Hedge Fund Now they are threatening to go into administration unless their air duty tax payment is suspended to ease their cash flow issues?
If there's a hedge fund involved it'll be a case of: Dismantle the business and ring fence assets of value in a separate company. Shaft the creditors through administration. Leave the planes on the tarmac and the passengers stranded. Get the CAA to pay to fly them all home. Sell the ring fenced assets of value once the $hit had died down. Repeat until all airlines have been sold-on or ruined.
Passengers stranded ...and remember all the staff and pilots out of a job that can't go unmentioned . Passengers always get back ..and to a job .
@Terrordales has a sideline making topiary beards. The Chinese market is very lucrative apparently. His topiary merkins are very popular as well.
If i was Don i would get that beard off immediately ...it's practically an upside down silver fir ...what with all the shinanigins going off .
I blame mr slimeball, I’ve got a private island that people pay a fortune to stay on and are ‘looked after’ by my young good looking staff, and I asset strip and sue the NHS but I love my country
Just a further thought on this... they can’t delay APD tax as otherwise it’s seen as a government bailout by the EU, so why was it possible the Gov’t could bail out the banks? Also from what I read/could tell Flybe make this payment once a year, surely they should pay monthly!
