Flooring help

I loose layed my ply then fitted units etc on top, nothing moves

I used some self adhesive sound deadening foam .
Give me a shout when the site is fixed and I'll put a link up ..

Just a few jobs of silicone to stop squeaking then screw it down .

 

Wots wrong with contract carpet laid loosely? ( the skip of giving shall provide) . Means you can pull it back to let the floor ‘breathe’. Any filler, glue or other petrochemical you put on it will trap moisture against the metal. Mechanical fixing all day long.
