  1. Hello all

I have a 1977 westy imported from USA. My question is should the headlights flash? I have main and dipped beams when the lights are on . But they will not flash could it be the relay?

hi mate welcome, no they dont flash, you can swap to a uk relay if you want that function it just requires an extra wire to the feed, some have modded on here i havent

I had the same issue with mine. In the end l bought a European relay and fitted the permanent live to it as per Euro buses. Not sure why the Yankees had this??

  9. Mine only used to work with the lights on, no good for flashing oncoming campers in the day so I added an extra wire & now it works a treat. ;)
