fitting twin carbs

I'm having these carbs fitted

I would just like to know
1. where does the brake servo hose connect
2. where does the oil breather hose connect
3. will the accelerator cable be the same length( currently have progressive carb fitted )

 

Have you bought them?

 

look in the How To section

 

brake servo hose can come off either of the manifolds or possibly a balance pipe between the two....
the oil breather hose can run upto either of the air filters...if you want it balanced (not that I imagine it'd make a huge difference) route it to a small bugpack breather and from thence to both filter tops
Not a scooby about the cable...even the right ones sold by the usual suspects aren't always 'right'....

as for not running any ported vac, it can be done......seems daft to uprate the carbs then downgrade the ignition timing IMO

Don't get too excited about performance. The vents on these are quite small 26mm I think. That said larger vents are available but it if you go to an old school rolling road they may open them out and re drill the jets. That said if your happy with performance once they are on then provided you just get them set up they will work fine.

ECU remapping, fuel injection, engine management, but no mention of carburettors...

 

Hope so. Good luck with them. I know you can get 28mm chokes for these and the jets from CB performance but don't know if anyone stocks em here. Am interested to see how you get on as these are as close to standard as you can get and have proper chokes but non of the central idling gubbins people struggle with.

they've got a rolling road so should be able to get it set up, regards jetting....the actual fitting is nuts and bolts
