Ok, so I had mine powder coated and it was just thick enough to make getting hubcaps on stupendously difficult....I dented each one in the end. Look at sanding down the three lugs on each wheel. You'll probably need screwdrivers to get them off, unless you want hands from the metal hook thing that look like when you carried car batteries home in a typical supermarket carrier bag.
This^^^^^ if you look at most wheels with wheel caps the lugs are normally rubbed of paint Also swhy they have the two holes fa pulling off against the puller and the tyre not the cap , works too .
I've been avoiding the wessex way like the plague as the traffic-works are awful! I'm only in Branksome so either drive through Poole, or take the Dorset Way around to get to the port.
Buy a rubber dingy and come in through Poole harbour The amount of traffic in Poole and Bournemouth is bloody awful. Used to be bad enough when I lived in Parkstone years ago. Now it’s just crazy.
Hence why I bike as much as I can (genuinely quicker most days). Van days I leave at 7 to avoid the traffic.
Our hub caps started falling off after tyre changes recently... swapped left for right and stay on again now... ... was also stopped by a lovely lady in Waitrose car park on Anglsey at the weekend and given a bag of hubcaps! Random....... So at least we have spares now. Sent from my SM-G930F using Tapatalk
Think the Duchy Original hubcaps they stock are grown on Hayling Island? Some fella called Dave I think.
