  6. More dumb powder coat questions...
Is it ok to get the pulley wheel powder coated? Thinking the fan belt will rub it through and cause problems/mess?

  7. It's fine. Have both done.

  8. Both?

The paint /coating on there currently has worn through in the v where the belt sits, so thought maybe not a good idea

  9. I've had both done in the past and they've been fine.

  10. Both what?

  11. Oops yes I follow! :easter:

  13. Mask off the boss and centre of the crank pulley before having them coated.

This lot including heat exchangers I think was £110. By the time I had worked out how much primer paint degreaser and wire wheels I would need the bloke had them done. Probably only cost a couple of quid more than buying all the stuff and it won't come off like it did when I painted it. (I also kept my hands clean)
    Powdercoat its the future

  16. Be interesting to see how the powder coating lasts on the heat exchangers.

Unless someone is wanting a totally stock resto, power coating is the easiest way to go.
