fitting a new carb

  1. I would plump for the twin 34 ict’s from Eurocarb. They are reasonably priced & Eurocarb keep lots of parts in stock, jets etc.
    winner

  2. We bought a Weber from Eurocarb for the mk2 Golf, great quality carb and cost us £325 including fitting kit. The carb was made in Spain.

  3. If you have a single progressive, you've still got that horrible T-shaped manifold, which is half the problem. Twins all the way.

  4. As hopefully they will be. Weber shipped their production there years ago. Better than Shanghai.

When I bought mine it was £140 for a 34PICT-3 Chinese copy, £250 ish for the progressive and £500+ for duals.
Now that progressive is not such good value.
