  1. horses for courses :) When you're running round with £6k of engine, then jubilees are not really the done thing ;)

  2. No not 3 miles with warning light on, maybe 2 meters? 3 miles until the light came on!

  3. Zed

    Zed Gradually getting grumpier

You will be 100% fine then. :)

  4. No external filter for me thanks lol
Im going to go with a big rare earth magnet on the drain plug

Those magnets are crazy strong but then again if i go to 1776 im not going to run an external cooler either

  5. When the engine was out it was difficult to gauge where I would mount the filter, we put some barbed connections on with some pipe, I then bought some high pressure hose, but I guess it might be better to get some proper hoses made up when I get a final resting place for the filter :) it's currently mounted on the rear engine support bar underneath :)

  6. The hose I have from my hydraulics guy is 20 bar which should be more than enough, and I'll get some good jubilee clips, until such a time as I can get some hoses made up :)

  7. so ive been back to where the van was left last night, topped up with a litre and a half, and its home. Just got to replace the crap oil hose with the 20bar reinforced stuff i have to fit.

i hope this is the last of my problems for a while i dont know how much more stress over this van i can take :p

  8. I use hydraulic hose, or aeroquip hose if I'm feeling flush/fancy!! ;)

Good job on getting some tougher ones  And on getting it home :)
