Hi All, Had a breakdown in my aircooled '71 bus yesterday. I had a sudden loss of power & then couldn't get the engine to fire - at best it coughed and spluttered but i couldn't get it to run. Looks like I'd lost some oil too... Recovery guy said it might be just be an earth as there was still current getting to the plugs... I going to start going through the motions today, I'm a total newbie to all this, has anyone got some words of wisdom for me? Are there any blindingly obvious things I should be looking for? Cheers!! 8)
It's all pointing towards ignition it fuel. Make sure fuel is getting to the carb and check those points as Zed said.
