Engine bay shine off

  1. Finally taken a picture after getting the engine bay painted a few weeks ago. Decided to go with original colours and a black engine and also decided to remove the silly electric fan to tidy the bay up a bit. I remade new hardboard bits for the soundproofing to tidy it up cos the old one had gone all saggy.

Finally pretty happy with the whole bus now, not much else i really need to do now but its always gonna be an ongoing project its a bus afterall.

  2. Tidy engine there and I love the black fan housing :)

  3. Did you use just normal hardboard?

    Looking nice in there now.

  5. Looking good Chris ;)

  7. Looks very nice. In taking out the squirrel fan what did you use to block up the hose vents? And what would be the downside of removing the fan - I'm assuming not much heat up the front of the bus - not that they pump out much anyway....

  8. Not blocked em off yet, fan is suppossed to add power to the pathetic air flow to the dash but only works at idle i think, looks a lot tidyer without it

  9. Smart looking engine bay there. Out of interest how effective was the fan that you took out?
