Elemental VW #9 - Checks 12th April 2014

I don't think I will ever make it to Elemental .... won't be able to this year - for valid reasons tho

Hows that field looking with this rain

 

Went for a bit of a pitch inspection saturday its OK given how bad the winter has been although its too early to tell yet, we could get a month of rain or a month of drought for march who knows ??

The bit to the left of the gate and the main camping field will be ok assuming the weather stays like it is now and doesn't relapse back into January

the bit that was muddy last year will be for pay on the day people (if deemed good enough pending inspection nearer the time) that is currently being criss-crossed with new field drainage the proof of which will come in the next few weeks

All booked. Would have been rude not to really as it might as well be in my back garden its so close. Just going for the day but hope to catch up with a few of the TLBers whilst there.

 

Does anyone want a Saturday night camping ticket?? My Mrs is running the marathon the next day so will be heading back for a comfy sleep. I'll bring it with me anyhoo. I'll be the scruffy pickup in the line up

Yep Friday and Saturday for me.

 

Indeed - as we can't rock up and drink from 9am on Saturday we're going to be there Friday!

Band rehearsals are going well!

 

I'm only camping on the Saturday night. I'll catch up and have breakfast cocktails when I arrive.

Only one week left to prebook.

Remember last year at 10:30am saturday morning we were turning people who didn't have a ticket away because we had reached capacity.

If you've prebooked a ticket you'll get in, if you haven't prebooked a ticket you might get in.

If you don't prebook, then turn up and we're full that's your fault, and if you're one of these people and then decide to email me a load of abuse because of your own tardiness (I love that word) ... you will be told where to get off

 

I've not been to this venue, last time was stanstead any plans for a line up or cruise to venue?
