It`s been many moons since i`ve sold anything on t`bay but trying to list anything is literally HOURS per item ?? Could be my trying to use ye laptop instead of sorting things out and being able to use my phone perhaps ?? Frustrated of Teddington
Not just you even though you’ve borrowed Noah’s Lap top, it’s a very long process for what it is, should take 5 mins usually takes 30-40, dunno how people have the time to do hundreds of listings or
Agreed , i remember it being 10 minutes max but now ?? Laptop isn`t new but never had issues , in fact i did a search on VW Noah and you came in tops Jeez , i`ve lost the will to live ...
Not just you, I don’t list much but it’s not exactly straight forward anymore. Plus eBay and PayPal fees take quite a cut.
It`s not worth the hassle to be honest. I`ve got dozens of quality walking books and guides that i`m sure would be useful to someone ... Ho-hum
Books are a problem. They’re heavy and the used book companies are all geared up for it. Down the charity shop!
I find taking the photographs takes most of my time, but once you're set up - especially if you're selling similar items - you can use the 'sell similar' option and just copy your original listing, making a few edits as appropriate, and it speeds the process up. Not sure it's any worse than it used to be, although I list fairly regularly so maybe haven't noticed the gradual changes. It does take time though.
I'll probably list a few on here but they're mostly Northern - Peaks, Lakes, Dales etc . I know most of you lot daren't venture past Luton so don't hold out much hope ....
