If I had to have a sports car, it would have to be an E type. Nothing else came near it in style.

 

I think the one that the A38 goes over, just by spaghetti junction....

 

Is it a racer?
The paint and blue stripes are definitely not as it left Browns Lane. The car looks an early version but the engine has the wrong (later) cam covers and Webers rather than SUs. The non standard breather and gauge and brake dust stained Minilites point to competition use which makes the awful 'grille' in the hatch make some sense.
