Dyson ventilators

    Much as it grieves me to say it - I'm not a Jimbo fan - but Dyson and similar companies are perfectly placed to design and produce these things rapidly. My understanding is that they'll be sold at cost.

    Please may I point out that neither operate using a vacuum but a lowering of pressure at one end of a tube.

    Indeed. But how many people do you hear saying "I'm just going to relocate dust on the living room carpet by generating a temporary pressure differential"? None!

    I blame the education system. There's little hope.

    While I understand there may be political issues surrounding this, I’m happy for anyone with the capability to manufacture ventilators.

    My girlfriend will be needing to use these once she’s out of isolation due to my symptoms, I’m just hoping they have enough by then and enough PPE

    I’m a lot better than I was thanks, what I’m a bit scared about now though is when the missis goes back to work in a week and is in contact with patients that have it.
