DubFreeze - Stafford - 18-19 Feb 2012

Just changing hats... DubFreeze has a new sister event that's taking the place of BusFreeze. Imaginatively entitled DubFreeze II. I know, I know. I was too engrossed preparing Aircooled Classics magazine at the time.

As essentially we're starting again, at a new venue over a weekend this time, it might be good for a club like The Late Bay to get involved from the outset with ideas. Just saying.

I don't want to come across as negative, as i say it's my opinion, nice to know that the Bingley event will say as 1 day with camping, in effect the way you originally worded it confused me, so to idiot speak it i see this as the way you mean it?

BUSFREEZE name change to DUBFREEZE II date similar but maybe a week or two later same location with camping for one night for the hardy.
DUBFREEZE remains the same
"NEW SHOW" different location.....weekend show with camping....hopefully no clash = happy campers.

 

I attended Bus-freeze and was some what disappointed tbh. Werent enough traders selling bus parts to provide any form of competition at the event (or interest) , autojumble was sparse. Didnt see much on show that was new or inivative. Its good for a couple of hours of your time and thats about it.

Sorry to sound negative but been to two of these and thought the second would be an improvement. It wasnt. Been going to freeze for years but it isnt that great.

 

ok, so i'm going to get off work early and stay over. this can be the annual tlb lads night out! lets get some more names down for camping!

me and Dubious have had a chat tonight and although both of us will probably be busless (him for deffo, me highly likely) we are gonna tent it......if it's bad weather we can always sleep in the cars i guess.......so bring your party hats.

we are going down on the sunday, going in Joycee as the bug would make our ears bleed on such a long run.
