In the absence of @MorkC68 and his usual catalogue of event photos I’m afraid my poor efforts will have to suffice until @mikedjames gets home.

Great to see everyone again and a fab turnout Considering the adverse weather conditions

238 miles to the show via Bristol ...

I have finally returned home , tried to drive down A5 for a change started off down the Trent valley - flooded..
Turned back , noticed the road back to the m6 was flooded, went south on the A34.. missed the A5 at Cannock , got lost in Lichfield, A38 South flooded. Ended up trying single track roads covered in muddy water.. including negotiating a level crossing with manually operated gates with about 10 other cars going in opposit directions ...we all had to turn back because.. flooding...

Finally hit the A5, passed Claybrooke Magna and down the A43 and A34 .

    210 miles back..

And the poptop stayed tied down..

You could tell there was a storm going on let’s put it that way. I think they were about a 3rd down on last year

  9. Good amount of stall holders think. Less people. Due to weather I think but it was still good.

    Just got home

had a small issue , spotted this just as I was leaving , half the bolts holding the wheel centre on had fallen out, handily there was a tool stall at the show and @theBusmonkey and @Mrs Busmonkey didnt really want to leave when they thought they did so they came back to assist :) x , pulled 2 bolts out of the other 3 wheels and teased it home with a part way retorque

  12. A Fantastic turnout considering the conditions!! The die hards have put the rest of us wimps to shame!!
We did actually make it by mid afternoon but then went straight to the bar for a warming toot and then into the cafe for a full English so, although I did see a few of you on the way in, I reckon we must have missed most folks.
It was an interesting journey there and had to negotiate a number of floods (which made me glad that I was stock height) but then when nearly there, we came across a massive flood under a bridge with a transit stuck in the middle so had to do a detour around that.
To add insult to injury, C&C hadn't bought my bits along so they are couriering out today DOH!! (at least I still got my 15% off)
Decided to risk the motorway home which got quite gusty and scary in parts but we made it.
Here's hoping for better weather for April Techenders!!
